We have seen a heard of 30-40 elk hanging around less than a mile from the property every year and can be heard some evenings and nights bugling. Most Elk in unit 241 and unit 242 are in our area of unit 242 near Beaver Dam Reserve and Beaver Dam State Park. Mule deer are prevalent in this area with large 5 point bucks seen on a regular basis. If you are into Coyote hunting the Coyotes are large with beautiful winter coats.
